Professor Tu Weiming of Harvard University and Peking University is a world-renowned scholar of Confucianism and its relevance to contemporary society. He has been instrumental in developing a dialogue among civilizations, particularly between the post-Enlightenment culture of the Western world and the modern transformations of Confucian humanism in the countries of East Asia.
