Interview with Prof. Tu Weiming in Korea Herald韩国先驱报就儒学与韩国金融危机问题采访杜维明教授

Korea’s English language newspaper, Korea Herald, published on 2011-02-28 an interview with Prof. Tu Weiming titled “Confucianism helped Korea in financial crisis” (you can read the interview here). In the interview, Prof. Tu Weiming argues that Korea was able to overcome the recent global financial crisis due in part to Confucian influence on Korean society, where people generally work hard without expecting immediate reward.据韩国先驱报2011年2月28日报道，该报就“儒学有助於韩国摆脱金融危机“一题采访了著名的新儒学教授杜维明先生。在采访中，杜维明教授指出，韩国能够克服最近这场全球金融危机的部分原因是儒家思想对韩国社会的影响，也就是说韩国人民普遍吃苦耐劳而又不期望即时回报。
